How this website and the current Castle Color build handle information.

Updated 21 October 2026 · Anshul Sharma, India · Ritava

Current status: Castle Color is in development. These pages describe this website and the current pre-release game. Final store builds, advertising settings and required disclosures will be reviewed before app-store launch.

Who is responsible

Anshul Sharma, based in India, publishes Castle Color under the Ritava brand. Ritava is not currently an incorporated company. Contact anshul@ritava.in for privacy enquiries or support.

This notice applies to this public website and explains the current pre-release game, version 5.16.0. The game is still in development. Its final advertising, age-related settings and store disclosures will be reviewed before public app-store release.

This website

You can browse without signing in. We have not added analytics scripts, advertising pixels, a contact form or a player database to this website. Links to our email address open your own email app; clicking a mail link does not itself send a message.

Our hosting and infrastructure providers process standard request information, such as an IP address, requested page, browser information and request time, to deliver pages, maintain security and investigate technical problems. They may use security-related cookies or logs under their own operating policies. This site is delivered through Sites hosting and its infrastructure providers. We do not promise that hosting logs are anonymous or absent.

Your game data

The current game keeps puzzle progress, tile positions, timers, collected words, letters, tokens, clocks, hammers, daily claims, reward records and preferences on your device. No player account or publisher-operated cloud-sync service is provided.

Clearing storage, uninstalling or changing devices can remove progress. The operating system may make or restore backups under its own settings; we do not control or guarantee those backups.

Optional playtest notes

Recording in Settings → Playtest notes is off by default. If enabled, it stores local event and performance notes, including session labels, build/platform, puzzle attempts, completions and help/reward events. These notes do not contain a player name, email, advertising ID, exact touch coordinates or the text of typed puzzle-code answers.

Notes are not uploaded automatically. Copying notes places an export on your clipboard; you decide whether to share it. Turning recording off does not erase older files or shared copies. The local store has a daily-file and size cap; cleanup runs when notes are written, so it is not a guarantee that an inactive installation deletes files after a fixed number of days.

Advertising in the game

The current build includes Google Mobile Ads and the User Messaging Platform, configured with Google sample ad IDs. Optional rewarded advertising is planned for the public release. This website does not display those ads.

Depending on the released configuration, permissions and region, the ad services can process IP addresses, approximate location inferred from an IP address, advertising or app/device identifiers, ad interactions and diagnostics. These services use information for advertising delivery and measurement, security and fraud prevention. A game without login can still involve this third-party processing.

The game requests ad initialization only when the consent system reports that ads may be requested. Where required, privacy choices must be available before the relevant processing, with an in-game route to review those choices. Selecting an ad reward is separate from privacy consent. Core puzzles can be played without accepting a rewarded-ad offer.

Google processes information under Google’s Privacy Policy and its partner-services information. You can review Google advertising controls. Removing the game does not automatically delete information already held by Google.

Contacting us

If you email us, we receive your reply address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use these to answer questions, investigate problems and handle privacy requests. Email service providers process correspondence to deliver and store it. Do not send passwords, government IDs, payment-card details or unrelated personal information.

We retain correspondence and voluntarily shared notes for as long as reasonably needed to handle the request, investigate the relevant issue or meet applicable legal obligations. You may request deletion. Provider backups and independently controlled advertising records can follow different retention processes.

Purposes, sharing and protection

We use information to deliver the website and game, maintain local progress, respond to requests, investigate reliability and administer rewards. Advertising providers process information through their SDKs as described above. Where applicable law requires a legal basis, the relevant basis depends on the purpose and may include providing the requested service, legitimate interests subject to your rights, legal duties or consent.

We do not upload your saved puzzle progress to a publisher player database, publish support correspondence or sell saved progress. Advertising-related processing may have a broader legal meaning under some regional privacy laws. Applicable choices must be considered separately from the absence of a player login.

We limit access to information we receive and use reasonable security measures. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Providers may process information internationally under their applicable arrangements and legal requirements.

Your choices and rights

Depending on your region, rights can include access, correction, deletion, a copy of information, objection or restriction, withdrawal of consent and a complaint to a relevant privacy authority. Conditions and exceptions can apply. Email anshul@ritava.in with your request and region. We will handle applicable requests within the time required by law and explain any relevant limitation.

We may need proportionate verification for a request. An email address does not let us identify or remotely delete a device-only game save or every advertising-provider record. See Data choices and deletion for practical controls.

Young players

The game is intended for a general audience aged 13 and older, not children under 13. A store content rating is distinct from the age for consenting to data processing. Where local law requires parental authorization at an older age, that still applies. If you believe a child supplied information without required authorization, contact us so we can investigate and address the relevant processing.

Changes

We will update this notice if the website or game’s data practices change. The date above identifies this version. Material changes or new consent requirements will be addressed through appropriate notice or choices before they apply.
